Controlled Water Quality
RAS supports close monitoring of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, turbidity, tank water level, and biofilter performance.
RAS Technology
Jentan is building a modern, technology-driven aquaculture system designed to produce healthy, fast-growing fish in a clean, controlled, and sustainable environment.
Pre-launch operations update
Jentan Fish Hatchery & Farms Limited is completing final operational readiness ahead of full commercial launch. Product availability, pricing, delivery timelines, and order confirmation will be confirmed by management before fulfillment.
State-of-the-art aquaculture model
At Jentan Fish Hatchery & Farms, our farm is powered by Recirculating Aquaculture System technology, commonly known as RAS. RAS allows water to be continuously filtered, treated, oxygenated, and reused within the farm.
Unlike traditional pond farming, where fish are exposed to changing weather, predators, pollution, and uncontrolled disease risks, RAS creates a more controlled environment where key water quality parameters can be managed carefully.
One major advantage of our RAS-powered model is the ability to support higher stocking densities under carefully controlled conditions. Because water is continuously filtered, oxygenated, and monitored, more fish can be raised efficiently within a smaller space compared with many traditional farming systems.
Jentan Fish Hatchery & Farms is designed to run primarily on solar power, with generator backup to ensure continuous operation of its RAS systems, water circulation, aeration, and fish welfare support.
Power Reliability & Fish Welfare
Jentan Fish Hatchery & Farms is designed to run primarily on solar power, with generator backup to ensure continuous operation of its RAS systems, water circulation, aeration, and fish welfare support.
RAS supports close monitoring of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, turbidity, tank water level, and biofilter performance.
Under carefully controlled conditions, RAS can support more fish in a smaller production area than many traditional systems while protecting fish health and water quality.
Controlled hatchery and grow-out environments help reduce exposure to predators, pollution, unstable weather, and avoidable disease pressure.
Stable oxygen, cleaner water, proper feeding, and disciplined monitoring support healthier fish and more reliable growth cycles.
Filtered water is treated and reused, reducing dependence on large ponds and uncontrolled water sources.
Jentan is designed to run primarily on solar power, with generator backup to support continuous RAS operation, water circulation, aeration, and fish welfare.
The platform is prepared for sensor integration, alerts, analytics, dashboards, and operational reporting as the farm scales.
How RAS Works
The cleaned water returns to the tanks, making RAS more water-efficient, hygienic, and predictable than many conventional fish farming methods.
Water from hatchery and grow-out tanks is moved through a managed recirculation process.
Filtration helps remove uneaten feed, faecal waste, and suspended particles that can stress fish.
Biofilter performance helps reduce harmful substances such as ammonia and nitrite.
Oxygen, pH, temperature, water level, and flow are monitored to support healthy fish growth.
Treated water is returned for reuse, creating a more predictable and efficient production environment.
Production Advantage
With proper feeding, oxygen management, water quality control, and biosecurity, RAS supports faster and more consistent fish growth. This helps Jentan produce strong juveniles and healthy table-size fish within a reliable production cycle.
The technology supports our commitment to premium fingerlings, strong juveniles, and healthy table-size fish all year round by improving control over the conditions that directly affect survival, growth, and product quality.
